Job Description Location: Reston, VA Position Description: This position is for a Test Engineer III to work on a Defense Health Agency project. The Test Engineer III will utilize knowledge of complex BI solutions with multiple authoritative data sources to best serve the client. Required Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field of studies Primary Job Duties Create and update test plans, test procedures, test cases, test scripts, and test reports Create and update the following documentation: Quality Control Plan, Test and Evaluation Report, Test Evaluation Program Plan (DI-IPBC-81438), Test Procedures (DI-IPSC-81439), Test Performance Report, Test Readiness Review Agenda and materials, and Test Readiness Review (TRR) Minutes Provide test results and issues during the Agile Sprints daily standups Attend project Agile Sprint daily standup meetings, customer meetings, and other team meetings Work and collaborate with other personnel on multiple discipline project team Required Experience Working in large-scale SOA solutions for large, complex automated information systems projects Working in an Agile SCRUM development environment Working with design engineers or product development team test technical products and report problems or failures in an attempt to improve or perfect the products Developing and executing test plans, procedures, test cases, and test scripts for IT SOA development environment project Supervising test and evaluation technical effort Performing typical tasks that include, but are not limited to, prototype development and first article testing, environmental testing, independent verification and validation, demonstration and validation, simulation and modeling, system safety, quality assurance, education and training, and physical testing of the product or system Performing system, interface, deployment, and performance testing on a variety of systems, platforms, and environments Providing customer support, operational support, and analysis of technical assistance request Coordinating across multiple stakeholders of various technical backgrounds Excellent oral and written communications MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, and Visio A. 10+ years experience with: Area of test and evaluation along with the following: B. 7+ years experience with: Hands-on experience in direct execution of major efforts in the application of a number of techniques to demonstrate that a prototype system, program, project or activity performs in accordance with the objectives outlined in the original design Preferred Skills Experience in utilizing the COTS products identified such as the following: Operating System: IBM AIX, Solaris OS Oracle: Oracle Application Server; Oracle Grid Infrastructure; Oracle Database; Oracle Clients; Oracle SQL Developer; WebLogic, Informatica Data Warehouse: Informatica PowerCenter; WebLogic; BusinessObjects XI and or 4x; Tomcat Data Loss Prevention: McAfee Agent; McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention; McAfee Policy Auditor; Policy Auditor Content Update; Policy Auditor Agent; SQL Server COTS: Internet Explorer; Adobe Acrobat Reader X; ActivClient CAC; ActivCard Gold for CAC - PKI; ForgeRock Open AM Java EE Policy Agent; Tivoli Client, Veritas Volume Manager & Netbackup Assisting with the DoD certification and accreditation information assurance following the DIACAP and Risk Management Framework (RMF) process Using quality control and testing tools Clearance: Must have existing clearance with ability to obtain SSBI Citizenship: US citizen Job Type: W2 Company Description Founded in 2004, Aderas is built upon the core principles of trust, integrity, and partnership.
