Job Description We are seeking a Construction Project/Contract Administrator with a preferred 3-5 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Industry or comparable contractor/construction experience to join our team located in Baltimore, MD. At BKM, our design work is primarily for renovation, addition, and new construction projects in the education, government, commercial, healthcare, and science & technology market sectors. Reports to: Director of Contract/Construction Administration Responsibilities: - Oversees and manages construction administration phase. - Oversees Construction Administration activities on projects, monitors project for construction document compliance. - Establishes project procedures, problem solving activities, budget reviews and certification needed. Initiates document revisions and project reviews, and processes changes orders. - Receives and distributes test reports. - Prepares punch-list and close-out procedures, and performs post-construction services and investigations as needed. - Prepares and distributes project meeting minutes, logs, and change-orders (when BKM is the prime consultant). - Coordinates and communicates effectively with all consultants and sub-consultants (when BKM is the prime consultant). - Reviews and processes submittals. - Reviews and processes Requests for Information (RFIs). - Oversees project close-out. Candidate Requirements: 3-5 years of construction administration experience or comparable mechanical, electrical, plumbing construction/contractor experience. High school GED and/or 2-year or 4-year college degree required. Means of transportation required (for travel and project site visits).
