The Executive Chef is responsible for BOH operations of this spectacular restaurant. The Executive Chef will set the overall direction for this Chef driven concept with the desire to WOW to palates of our patrons. This will include day-to-day operations, while focusing on menu items, recipes, food standards, food handling, inventory, ordering, supply storage and more. General Responsibilities: Daily operation of the kitchen and kitchen staff Creating and maintaining all menus and recipes used in the restaurant, as well as the preparation, presentation, and service Work with the team to grow the business, drive sales and manage costs Hiring and developing all kitchen staff Lead by example maintain a positive pleasant, attitude Communicate cordially, effectively and clearly during all interactions Development and maintenance of food items, menus, recipe books prescribing ingredients, product specifications, and portion sizing Requirements: 3 - 5 years of Executive Chef experience in a high-volume, upscale casual dining kitchen Ability to demonstrate solid cooking skills and technique Demonstrated ability in food cost controls Very skilled in cost controls, P&L, budgeting, employee coordination Passion and respect for food, service, and creativity Self-motivated, driven, strong desire to achieve Should be able to articulate achievements and discuss strong cost controls Culinary degree a plus If this describes you, apply now!
