Job Description Position Summary: Under direction from the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital's (FBCH) Chief Technology Officer and SharePoint Team Lead, the SharePoint Developer shall be responsible for SharePoint 2010/2013 Site development to support the SharePoint Portal. Candidate will have familiarity and working knowledge of SDLC processes and procedures. Candidate will be well written and able to articulate complex systems to both technical and non-technical team members and end-users clearly. Candidate will be expected to build relationships with end-users, engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts. The SharePoint Developer will be expected to collaborate with stakeholders to understand their particular needs, translate them into functional/technical requirements and identify effective and efficient solutions. The ideal candidate shall have documented enterprise commercial, government, and/or DoD software development/engineering background. Performance Expectations Build custom applications with the SharePoint Server and Client- and App-side API Build SharePoint WSP deployment solutions at the Farm or Sandbox Work with dashboards, SRSS (preferred), PerformancePoint, BDC/BCS, Information Architecture, Metadata Services, Single Sign On/Secure Store, and custom branding. Essential Skills, Experience, and Certifications: “Out of the box” SharePoint 2010 development experience Visual Studio using C# (preferred) or VB.NET Development with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, ASP.NET, AJAX SharePoint Designer, Event Receivers, Feature Receivers, custom STSADM Commands, PowerShell Cmdlt Site collection administration experience LINQ to SharePoint (SPMetal), TSQL, CAMLQuery Object oriented development and Asynchronous techniques Quality control development, XSS vulnerabilities, .NET, SPDisposeCheck Awareness of Governance methodologies commonly governing DoD organizations DoD Favorable National Agency Check with Law and Credit (NACLC) security investigation for suitability with a favorable adjudication DoD 8570 compliant IAT Level2 baseline certification (CompTIA Security+ce or higher) Secret Clearance required Microsoft MSCE/MCSD certification (preferred) Company Description Diverse Systems Group, LLC (DSG), is a minority-owned 8(a) firm that creates custom information technology and business solutions for government agencies, systems integrators and government contractors.
