Job Description Basic Purpose: Ability to install, repair and maintain facility equipment and machinery in order to maintain required production levels under minimal supervision. Key Job Responsibility: · (E) Must possess lifting capabilities of up to 50 lbs Possess the skills and knowledge of the Maintenance Technician position. · (E) Must have the ability and be willing to perform maintenance functions above ground level from 1' to 50' · (E) Must be able to stand and/or walk, bend, stoop or crouch for at least an 8 hour shift · (E) Must be able to use hands, fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts and work near moving mechanical parts. · Must follow all Company safety rules and regulations including LOTO and wearing all required PPE. · Efficiently performs task including all phases of repairs to include moving and relocating equipment, set-up and installation of equipment and machinery throughout the plant/facility to include all departments; with a high degree of electrical/troubleshooting and mechanical skills. Tasks to include: routine preventative maintenance, tear down and reassemble equipment. · Must own basic hand tools. · Efficiently operates machinery such as drill presses, cutting machines and welders in order to produce new or replacement parts for new or existing machinery or equipment. · Ability to accurately use, read and understand blue prints, schematics and instruments such as: micrometers, calipers, depth mics, indicators and multimeters. · Ability to accurately perform daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery as required per established PM programs and complete required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. · Ability to read and understand Maintenance Work Orders. · Must be willing to mentor and / or train existing and/or new maintenance associates. · Able to work in a team environment to include relieving other associates in instances of breaks, absenteeism, vacation or other production requirements. · Performs any other duties as assigned or directed by Team Leader / Supervisor. · Maintains good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures. · Follows all company guidelines as stated in the Associates Handbook and Safety Manual. E - Essential functions of the position KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: · Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions · Ability to interface within a diverse workforce · 4 Years Prior Maintenance Experience EDUCATION: · Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent experience. · Certification or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical field.
