Jr. Help Desk Specialist
Job Description Evolver is seeking a Jr. Help Desk Specialist to work in Woodlawn, MD. Shift hours: 11:30 am - 8:00 pm Monday - Friday. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Customer service, face-to-face interactions, patient, adept at working with end users; Ability to explain technical concepts in easy-to-understand language; Manage, support, and maintain all workstations/laptop COTS software; Systematically resolve issues related to Laptops; Build laptop images; Provide technical recommendation and guidance to customer; Document all issues/problems; Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior and mid-level end user support engineers; Interface with Social Security Administration Infrastructure Engineering to resolve infrastructure issues. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: Requires a minimum of 6 months - 2 years technical experience/knowledge ; A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience. Technical Requirements (required and desired): Must have Windows 7, MS Office support skills, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills; This position requires excellent communication and user relationship skills along with the ability to multi-task; Must demonstrate a proven ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form with all levels of staff and management; Must have ability to troubleshoot and diagnose PC Hardware/Software problems and problems with equipment; Performs other duties as assigned.
