Job Description We are a nation-wide property management company specializing in scattered site management, and we are in need of a full-time Maintenance Technician/ Leasing Agent to join our TEAM and to complete work orders, and punch units, with great experience, and hold the responsibilities of a Leasing Agent. Type: Full Time -- Experienced MAINTENANCE ASPECT: Need to be experienced in the following areas: -HVAC Certified Job duties include but not limited to: - Perform light plumbing/mechanical/electrical - Perform appliance repairs - Carpentry - Prepare vacant units for leasing - Various inspections using our software, Simple Inspector in which you will be trained. All applicants must have their own basic tools, valid driver's license and reliable transportation and availability to respond immediately to emergency on call repairs. Must be a TEAM player and have the ability to work diligently and complete projects on time and without direct supervision. Must also have strong interpersonal skills: be friendly, professional, courteous and comfortable dealing with difficult situations and personalities. No felony convictions and must be able to pass a background check and full drug screening. LEASING AGENT ASPECT: CORE SKILLS: - Great organizational skills; time management is critical with respect to balancing appointments in the field and handling administrative functions - A "Polished Professional" - Exemplary communication skills - STRONG closer! Leasing: Should close 40 - 50% of showings - Creatively problem solver & independent thinker - Understands the value of leads & treats them like gold! - STRONG phone skills with an propensity toward client and customer service - Would prefer that you hold an Ohio Real Estate license however we will DEFINITELY consider individuals with strong sales skills and a background in multifamily housing. Apartment people are welcome! - Admin. skills such as: computer skills (data entry), ability to use management software, document & lease preparation, organization of the move-in process, entering work orders as they arrive via phone or email, process credit reports as appropriate for new applicants - Must have reliable transportation (Will have access to a company vehicle for a significant amount of time in the field) - Property management experience a major plus; this is NOT apartment management Benefits Include: *Paid Holidays and Vacation *Competitive Compensation *Monthly Family Care Bonus pay after 90 days (up to $3.00/hr) *Company vehicle after one year Company Description We are a national Property Management Company!
