Job Description FranConnect - Director, Product Marketing As the Director of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the team which defines and executes the Company's go-to-market efforts. As the leading SaaS platform provider for franchise system management, you will be expected to lead the strategy behind our product and solution messaging, including alignment to key vertical market initiatives in hospitality, quick serve restaurants, home services and more. It is vitally important that the Product Marketing organization deliver effective sales enablement materials for our Sales team, which complement our Marketing team's account based marketing tactics. This individual must stay abreast of trends in our targeted markets and collaborate with Product Management for necessary adjustments to our product strategy and roadmap execution. The candidate will bring to FranConnect a strong history of Product Marketing leadership experience in enterprise B-to-B software offerings, specifically in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Business Process Automation (BPA) or similar segments. This leader must possess a strong background in matrix management and will interact daily with the Executive Management team as well as key managers and contributors alike. Key to success for this position is a leader who can properly balance big picture vision, with a keen eye on customer need. As part of the FranConnect team, your responsibilities include: · Commercial readiness and success: Oversee and lead all external launch readiness efforts for product and solution introduction. This includes coordinating messaging for demand generation and education programs with marketing and sales teams. Collaborate with Product Management to ensure a cohesive internal launch readiness program is also accomplished. · Market research and analysis: Lead all primary and secondary market research for our key market segments. Identify trends and opportunities within the Company's targeted segments and drive recommendation and market requirements back into the organization. You'll be looked upon to develop new ideas based on market analysis and empirical information. · Assess competitive landscape: Oversee the monitoring and active reporting of the competitive landscape including SWOT analysis of key competition. Who you are: At least 5-8 years of previous product marketing experience in Enterprise B-to-B software market, ideally with at least two years in a Director role Previous product marketing experience with B-to-B SaaS offerings in CRM, ERP or similar segments Demonstrated experience in establishing product positioning and unique selling propositions Sales tools: An understanding of what sales tools are needed to support a product and how to get them done Strong vertical marketing background Strong communication skills - both written and verbal Strong finance skills including determining product price, ASP analysis, and more Strong technology knowledge: We need a leader that can understand technology and adapt it to market need Successfully has worked with internal groups such as sales, finance, marketing, etc. to support success product and solution initiatives Previous experience both building and managing a product marketing team University degree (MBA preferred) with studies in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experience.
