Job Description NextGen IT Solutions seeks a highly skilled senior SharePoint Online Developer to design, configure, customize, maintain, and manage SharePoint Online site collections, lists, libraries, applications (ie… InfoPath), work flows, web parts, pages, search settings, and navigation menus. The candidate will need to possess good communication skills (both oral and written) to work with assigned project managers and team members to complete projects in a timely and professional manner. The candidate will need to understand software development life cycle principles to gather and record requirements and to design, build, manage, and support SharePoint Online team sites, applications, work flows, interfaces, lists, libraries, web parts, pages, and navigation menus. Additional responsibilities include the following: assist with documenting and enforcing SharePoint Online implementation and governance standards manage SharePoint Online site collections, including site permissions design, build, and support configured / customized SharePoint Online applications and associated workflows using tools such as InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, Flow, or Apps provide operational support for assigned SharePoint Online projects. The contractor expected to work side by side with County staff to facilitate knowledge transfer manage source code and document configuration items within the County's configuration management systems (SubVersion / SharePoint Online) conduct SharePoint Online training seminars as assigned work with web application developers to build SharePoint Online interfaces to web applications (ASP.NET or WUFOO) and databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or Access) create, configure, customize, and implement team sites and sub-sites, libraries, lists, views, master pages, templates, content types, search settings, web / app parts, navigation, and other custom components The candidate should also have experience using Hyper-Text Markup Language (HTML 5), Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS 3). In addition, the contractor should also have experience with Office365 apps such as OneDrive for Business, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Delve, and Skype. Experience with 3rd Party SharePoint Online apps and add-ins should be noted on the contractor's resume. Required: Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Master's preferred. General Experience: At least seven (7) years of IT and business/industry work experience. Specialized Experience: At least five (5) years as SharePoint Developer. Coaches and mentors more junior technical staff. Provides technical input into the most complex and high impact IT decisions.
