Required Skills: Thorough implementation experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (EMASS) and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle Experience drafting and evaluating security deliverables including, but not limited to: System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Control Traceability Matrices (SCTMs), Risk Assessments, and Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&Ms) Demonstrated knowledge of Information Assurance (IA) and enterprise IA solutions Thorough implementation experience of selecting, assessing, and engineering security controls via NIST SP 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 Ability to apply information security principles and best practices to single node/application systems and enterprise system designs Provide enforcement of security directives, orders, standards, plans and procedures at server sites. Key Job Functions: Omni Technologies' Information System Security team seeks an experienced Security Engineer to provide technical expertise with engineering and supporting Accreditation & Authorization (A&A) efforts. In this role, you will: Develop and review security documentation (ex. SSP, SCTM, POA&Ms, etc) Analyze vendor documentation and provide feedback on policies, procedures, and implementation strategy Update eMASS project details and records Work with small teams to research, design, and develop solutions to address customer challenges. Work with a variety of security architectures and technology focus areas. Perform computer and/or network security vulnerability assessments. Analyze and evaluate vulnerability results to provide solutions to reduce risks, threats, and vulnerabilites to our customers. Basic Qualifications: An individual must meet the following criteria in order to be considered: US Citizen Pass a background investigation Associate's degree in computer science or related field preferred. Possess a Secret Security Clearance; Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance preferred. Two or more years of experience in an information security and assurance role. Possess DoD 8570 compliant security certifications to meet IAT requirements (Security+, etc) Experience with DIACAP, RMF, ICD 503, CNSSI 1253 and NIST Special Publications. Experience with the DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS), Security Requirements Guides (SRG), and industry best practices for various applications. Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Host Based Security Suite (HBSS) applications.
