Customer Service Representative
Job Description Forman, Inc. seeks an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team to sell foodservice disposable and jan/san products, support the outside sales force, serve customers, and accurately process customer orders via phone, e-mail, and/or fax. Must learn product lines in order to sell and assist customers. You will be responsible for providing sales and customer relations service through processing orders; handling customer inquiries and issues of concern; coordinating service with other departments when appropriate; and functioning as a customer contact regarding product information, pricing, scheduling, and shipping. Responsibilities: Handle customer inquiries and complaints via phone and e-mail Provide information about Forman's thousands of foodservice disposable and jan/san products Key customer orders into system Call customers to follow up on orders, provide order status, and advise of sales promotions Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns, following up with sales representative, involved department(s), and/or vendors Document and update customer records based on interactions, analyzing background information, buying patterns, and other trends to assist ongoing service of customers Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products via self-study and company training Provide sales support to outside sales representatives Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Previous inside sales and/or customer service experience in an unscripted call center environment at a company that sells a variety or products or complex services (with such experience involving foodservice disposables and jan/san product knowledge strongly preferred) Ability to build rapport with customers Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at the same time Positive and professional demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to understand and utilize data processing systems, applications, and related reports Ability to understand and explain products, product combinations, and sales promotions Ability to build collaborative relationships and negotiate conflict resolution Company Description Forman, Inc. has been providing quality food service disposable and jan/san products to our distributor partners for over 65 years.
