Junior Sales Associate
Job Description Personal & Commercial Lines Junior Sales Associate Quest Insurance is seeking an exceptional Insurance professional with proven experience to become part of a dynamic team in a fast growing independent insurance agency. The candidate should have proven discipline, drive, commitment and specialize in Personal and Small Commercial Lines for Property and Casualty Sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following: Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Generate cold calling lists from various insurance sales marketing services Generate prospective leads from cold calling Provide insurance quotations and proposals for both small commercial and personal lines prospects Craft marketing campaigns for client development and retention Identify cross-selling opportunities with existing customers for product lines not carried by agency Perform due diligence when shopping coverage and rates for prospects and existing client renewals Maintain the sales management program Attend client prospect meetings Meet carrier representatives Must be willing to travel within the metro area to prospects and existing clients Perform other functions or tasks as directed by management Qualifications: Excellent organizational skills Highly motivated, works well with minimal guidance Must have the ability to multi-task while still being detailed oriented in a fast paced and dynamic environment Have experience in relationship building with clients and businesses Excellent communication and interpersonal (written, verbal and oral) skills is essential Able to maintain confidential data and meet deadlines Must be able to work with a client-centric and decisive manner under tight deadlines Ability to learn and stay current with all P&C products/regulations and be able to quote the appropriate types and levels of coverage Demonstrate proficiency with all MS Office products The following additional skill sets and attributes are desired: BS, BA and/or over 3 years of relevant work experience in sales Comprehensive working knowledge of commercial lines products, services and value propositions Must either have a license in Property and Casualty insurance, or the willingness to obtain one within (120) days of date of hire This position offers a competitive compensation package in a stable and appealing work environment.
