Job Description Empower Energies is seeking a sales & marketing analyst. This individual will report to the Head of Sales and Development, working with senior sales executives. The sales & marketing analyst will support the sales/marketing process and Empower's relationships with commercial solar project customers and developers. The analyst will be a self starting, creative and motivated individual who has a proven history of successfully supporting complex sales processes and services for commercial customers. The job is in the Greater DC - Baltimore metro area. Compensation is a base and bonus of up to $90,000. Responsibilities: Help senior sales executives to draft and deliver project proposals to customers. Assess and collect data on development opportunities and customers. Assist with marketing the company and its capabilities to prospective customers and partners. Team internally with senior sales, operations and finance executives on new project initiatives. Monitor the sales prospects pipeline, including new and existing relationships. Research cutting edge issues around the changing financial, legal, tax and energy policy aspects of solar projects. Qualifications: Minimum of a bachelor's degree, demonstrating a depth in quantitative analysis and communication. (Some hard sciences/math and social sciences/business/real estate, a plus) Minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience in project sales or project management, ideally in the energy sector or in project development with basic understanding and application of contract commercial terms. Should have a track record of working on a sale material, proposals and presentations; managing proposal processes in sectors such as power, real estate, or construction. Strong written and oral communication skills. Proven team player with ability to solve problems and proactively raise potential concerns or issues. Basic understanding of photovoltaic solar industry.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, satellite imaging software (eg, Google Earth) and/or financial modeling a plus.
