Job Description Job Description Position/Title: Contract Recruiter Location: Washington, DC Position Summary: In this role you will, streamline and increase efficiency of recruitment for the organization. You will proactively source, assess, interview and hire candidates. You will collaborate with Hiring Managers and HR Partners to meet talent acquisition goals. Essential Job Functions: Full life cycle recruitment across various departments including program management, communications, business development, and finance and administration. Work closely with hiring managers and HR Partners to identify the ideal candidate profile and to define the recruitment process. Review resumes, short-list and phone screen to evaluate applicant's qualifications and fit with organization. Deliver high quality customer service to hiring managers and candidates and fill positions in a timely manner. Comply with OFCCP guidelines; manage and monitor internal applicant tracking system, ensuring that all candidates and applicants are properly tracked and have a disposition in a timely fashion. Manage and maintain accurate documentation on all applicants and candidates using the internal ATS and file management procedures. Work closely with HR Partners to understand key business issues and challenges. Proactively target and source candidates using databases, social media, networking, and other sources. Plan and execute recruiting strategies to create a strong candidate pipeline. Maintain updated job postings and advertisements on all sites. Maintain a strong network of industry contacts for potential sourcing and hiring. Performs other duties and functions as assigned. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred. Four (4) years of recruitment experience. Preference for candidates with not-for-profit experience. Experience with full cycle recruiting components including but not limited to sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management and due diligence. Experience using applicant tracking technology and on-line databases. Preference for candidates with HR Smart experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have a strong understanding of EEO/Affirmative Action, OFCCP and Federal/State HR and employment laws as they relate to recruitment and selection. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and strong cross-cultural skills. Must be a strong team player with the ability to establish effective working relationships with peers and superiors. Demonstrated ability to handle a heavy workload with a high degree of adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities. Outstanding relationship-building, consultative and training skills. Ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high level of accuracy. Advanced knowledge of relevant software, including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
