Job Description In order to apply to this job you must have a Active Security Clearance This position require a Active Security Clearance . Systems Administrator will serve on a large program team developing, maintaining, and deploying a group of highly complex web applications. The selected Administrator will be responsible for the design, development/configuration, and installation of infrastructure elements, such as application monitoring, auditing, load balancing, encryption, deployment automation, etc. Responsibilities include, but not limited to -Develop and maintain baselines for infrastructure components, such as monitoring tools (eg Nagios), network load balancers, Linux, etc.; -Install and configure Linux servers and application servers; -Install and test upgrades and patches; -Implement security and encryption; -Create/develop shell scripts for complex task automation; -Respond to operational tickets, monitoring alerts and events; -Develop, configure, install, and maintain application monitoring tools; -Configure, install, and maintain audit solutions; -Implement security and encryption solutions; -Assist in the design, development and management of an automated build, release, and deployment processes; -Assist in investigation/design/development of solutions to limit/eliminate customer downtime during deployments; -Work both independently and in an Agile team environment; -Assist in the design/implement/refine implementations of version control systems (eg Git), build tools (eg Maven), and automation tools (eg Chef. Puppet); and -Troubleshoot and problem solves both technical and non-technical issues. Mandatory Skills:1. Demonstrated on-the-job experience serving as a Systems Administrator on a complex, high volume, large user base system Linux based environment. 2. Demonstrated on-the-job experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing network load balancing solutions across Linux servers and web applications within the last 3 years. 3. Demonstrated on-the-job experience configuring Linux and application servers within the last 3 years. 4. Demonstrated on-the-job experience implementing, configuring, tuning, securing, and maintaining web servers (eg Apache Tomcat or JBoss) within the last 5 years. Qualification Requirement Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Clearance processing will be completed by the US Government.
