Systems Administrator, Principal
Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY: Serves as a company authority in establishing procedures for the maintenance of data files and control procedures for a complex system of networked computers or for a single group of microcomputers linked to a host workstation, or mainframe. Responsible for system security and data integrity. Monitors and defines the use of resources, and works with management to define requests for information. May work as a high level independent contributor or team leader. RESPONSIBILTIES: Systems administrator who will be part of a technical team, which provides direct support to a Group, which is transforming the production process within the Sponsor's space and across the community. The program is seeking a high performing system administrator to work with the various teams across the Group assist in the administration of a variety of applications. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 10 to 12 years of related experience. Demonstrated on-the-job functional and technical experience in UNIX, Windows (hardware and software). 2. Demonstrated on-the-job experience in system administration of all UNIX Servers to include: installation, backups, patch maintenance, performance tuning, monitoring results from cron jobs, hardware/software installs, de-installs, upgrades, and relocations to ensure no operational impacts occur. 3. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with common protocols, such as, SMTP, SSH, SFTP, FTP, HTTP, DNS, PKI. 4. Demonstrated on-the-job experience as EMC IRM Server Administrator to include administration of attached Oracle databases. 5. Demonstrated on-the-job experience managing and administering EMC IRM Client for high availability in highly visible and fast paced environment. 6. Demonstrated on-the-job experience troubleshooting user authentication, encryption keys and various policies for protected content on IRM Server and Client. 7. Demonstrated on the job experience using Windows Powershell scripting to administer EMC IRM Servers. Clearance level required TS/SCI w/Poly. ITAHP PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face.
