Senior Applications Developer, Java
Job Description: Senior Apps Developer Java CACI is seeking a Senior Software Developer with experience creating and developing web applications in support of an enterprise document content management system. Selected candidate will work on a high profile/high priority project with a tight deadline. This position requires in-depth hands-on experience developing software in a team environment, where customer focus, cooperation, communication and continual trade-craft improvements are the norm. RESPONSIBILITIES: Write code to create single-threaded or user interface event driven applications, either stand-alone or those which access servers and services Develop code necessary to complete the assigned project(s) in the specified time frame according to departmental standards and guidelines Identify and report problems in the new and existing software Recreate reported software problems to facilitate solutions, which includes validating the fix for the software problem Write, modify and debug software for client applications Develop the critical components of the solution, including but not limited to, security, rules infrastructure, custom adapter implementation, and application interfaces Use source debuggers and visual development environments Interprets business requirements and implement the necessary technology to fulfill requirements Architect and conde multi-environment system solutions utilizing various programming languages Profile, analyze, and optimize the software for which you are responsible for implementing Employ best practices for design, development, unit, and test plan development Actively participate in the documentation of software requirements, functional design, flowcharts and diagrams Support completed software throughout the Software Development Life Cycle and production Assist in the scheduling and coordination of projects and may be involved in the design phase of a project Required Skills: Existing TS/SCI Full Scope Poly Clearance Experience with Java Experience with Java web technologies (for example Spring and J2EE) Working familiarity with both Windows/Linux Ability to work effectively in a team environment Desired Skills: Experience using HighView 5 SDK Experience with AWS Experience with Service Oriented Architectures Experience with PKI Experience with testing frameworks (for example: JUnit) Experience working in an Agile environment Education and Experience: Typically requires a seven to nine years of related experience and a BS/BA in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or similar OR equivalent combination of education and experience CACI employs a diverse range of talent to create an environment that fuels innovation and fosters continuous improvement and success.
