Job Description: The Intelligence Solutions Team has an opening, contingent upon Contract Award, for a SharePoint Developer supporting our proposal team in the Washington DC Metro area. Provides development support to projects and infrastructure support activities. Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain web applications. These activities may include interaction with legacy applications. Develop, create, and modify applications or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs, develop software solutions, design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Analyze and integrate databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Converts project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to detailed logical flow charts for coding into computer language using appropriate Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Develops and writes computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information. Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities. Develops codes, tests, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software. Performs maintenance on existing software products and contributes knowledge of business applications. Ensures that the proposed objects are consistent with data and process models. Works with the technical staff to understand problems with software and then resolve them Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Clearance: TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph Education BS degree in Computer Science or related field (12+ years). Experience may be substituted for a degree. Desired Qualifications: Extensive experience developing, modifying, or maintaining applications within SharePoint. Ability to create architectural or other diagrams for use in development. Experience with Oracle, SQL or T-SQL. Experience with XLST, IBM Rational Rose XDE Dev D93, and Visual Basic. Experience with C++, DOM Scipting, API for XML, and Java. Familiarity with User Interface design, development, and evaluation methods. Experience with multiple operating systems. Experience in software testing - ClearQuest and LoadRunner. Familiar with Agile methodology. Experience within the IC. Proficiency with ASP.NET and C# development with expertise on the SharePoint platform. Previous experience installing and configuring Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010. Understand 'out-of-the-box' SharePoint Designer 2010 possibilities to deliver as much "no code" solutions as possible before turning to custom development with Visual Studio 2010. Thorough understanding of Visual Studio 2010 SharePoint tolls and project items such as schemas (site columns and content types), lists and libraries, event receivers, web parts etc. General client-side web development is highly desirable such as skills with HTML, CSS, jQuery, REST, and the SharePoint Client Object Model. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, software design patterns, and unit testing.
