About the Opportunity: Within the Corporate Finance segment, the Office of the CFO practice offers solutions to manage the CFO's inbox for a company that is maximizing its performance and positioned to meet today's increasing challenges. The performance expectation for the finance function is at a new peak and the demands placed on a CFO have never been greater. As a result, key areas of focus for this practice line are: Financial Transformation Finance Performance Management, including Business Planning & Performance Analytics Treasury Solutions Accounting Risk Management, Corporate Reporting & Accounting Process Improvement Human Capital Performance and Organizational Design & Re-alignment Event Readiness Primary Duties: The resource will collaborate with various FTI and customer teams to plan projects, gather requirements, design and deploy the finance technology (FinTech) solution, and comply with defined scope. The resource will also assist FinTech leadership with input on active and potential pursuits, estimating opportunities, and end user adoption. This will include (but not limited to): Create a project approach and timeline for the defined scope Ensure functional requirements are documented and prioritized, working with the Finance and IT business stakeholders Perform fit-gap analysis and provide a recommendation (via position papers, decision documents etc.) to map the requirements to the IT product's functionality Perform hands-on solution design analysis, solution architecture assessment and roadmap identification Act as a liaison between technical team, business functions, and System Integrator to drive progress Play a key role in documenting new business processes, capabilities and functional requirements Play a key role in planning strategy for module/functionality/features deployment with a focus on cross-module integration and reporting Support communication and change management efforts (working with the end users) and assist with troubleshooting both application and business process issues, with a focus on early intervention and quick corrective action Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required in Business/Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related HR / IT discipline 6-8 plus years' experience in all phases of a full implementation lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, build, test, deploy) in a major ERP system (Oracle or SAP) Strong finance skills: comfortable working in the 3 main financial statements, analyzing key financial KPIs/metrics, discussing finance related topics with C-suite executives Knowledge of the ERP/EPM function and processes (Oracle, SAP, Hyperion and others) Expertise in Business Intelligence (BI), Analytics and Data Warehousing solutions Prior experience in integrating bolt-on applications with ERP systems Prior experience managing teams of at least 3 resources Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint etc.) Excellent teamwork, client-facing and interpersonal skills Aptitude for trouble-shooting and problem-solving, with demonstrated ability to exercise mature judgment and present solution paths to facilitate consensus Willing to travel 85% Preferred Skills: Ability to handle multiple client stakeholders and multiple external teams with confidence Relationship building expertise Prior sales experience Position Classification: Exempt FTI Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer #LI-AO1
