Location: Remote-DC Requisition: R7867 Lead Sales Engineer (Open) Job Posting Title: Lead Sales Engineer Job Description: The Opportunity As a Networking Sales Engineer (SE), you will be responsible for the technical relationships with customers and prospects, and you will identify and match technology opportunities with our customers business needs. In this pre-sales technical role, you will showcase Citrix Networking product solutions (NetScaler ADC, Unified Gateway, App Firewall, SD-WAN, and NetScaler Management and Analytics System). Your principal responsibilities will include: Creating and delivering technical product demonstrations, presentations, and network designs and support Delivering product training and skills transfer to channel partners, integrators and users Participating in consultations and/or product capability assessments with prospects Creating formal relationships with key decision makers and serving as external spokesperson for Citrix Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of intelligent application switching issues and trends as they relate to Citrix Netscaler solutions. Leveraging and maximizing partners as the fulfillment channel while working with Citrix end user accounts on IT initiatives Working on issues that impact design/selling success or address proof of concepts, products or technologies Qualifications and Requirements Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience 5+ years pre-sales or systems engineering experience in a high tech, with a record of success in driving customer adoption of technology Ability to travel within assigned territory Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification. CCDP or similar vendor certification Pre-sales consulting experience is required in any of these technology areas: Routers and Switches/ Core Networking Load Balancers Security (Web, Email, Content, Firewalls) Data Center (Storage Virtualization, Virtual Switching) Qualifications: Demonstrated efficiency in system integration Ability to troubleshoot complex network environments Understanding of bandwidth management and quality of service concept Ability to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Citrix solution strategy; ability to make a compelling case for Citrix products Capable of quickly learning new products and technologies Ability to diffuse complicated technical and political situations with partners and customers Ability to maintain relationships with technical resources at all levels of a customer organization Functional Area: Sales Engineer About us: Citrix is a cloud company that enables mobile workstyles.
