MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR Job Summary: Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Supervisor Carlisle, PA. The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure the maintenance workforce keeps the plant and equipment operating in a state that delivers the planned production capacity while delivering the required product quality at the lowest maintenance cost. This position will report to the campus engineering manager. Primary Job Responsibilities: Supervise activities of hourly maintenance personnel across a three shift operation Track employee time, document incidents, disciplinary action, accident/injury reports, and other related items when needed Coordinate with operations daily on equipment availability Work with the maintenance support staff to coordinate daily work schedule Monitor & report Work Order & PM progress vs schedule daily Work with the maintenance support staff and Campus Engineering to troubleshoot breakdowns, issues during equipment upgrades and new installations Enforce plant safety rules and departmental policies Document semi-annual crew leader reviews and ensure crew leaders perform & document annual reviews for their crew members Attend daily SQDC boardwalks and participate in other improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen events and Idea Generation Meetings Compile and deliver reports from SAP CMMS regarding department metrics and other plant objectives Work with the maintenance support staff to keep the parts and information storage areas organized and up to date Work with the craftsmen to determine individual training needs and develop programs to keep skills up to date Manage the Apprentice Training Program, verify paperwork and book or online classwork is being completed, schedule outside training as laid out in the course curriculum and develop/manage the apprentice rotation schedule. Any other duties assigned by management Minimum Job Requirements: Certified Electrician or Multicraft with 10-15 years of experience and held a position as crew leader. SAP knowledge is preferred Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance and Work Order Knowledge of safety aspects of all equipment as well as the plant's general safety policies Previous supervisory experience is required Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Carlisle Construction Materials offers a competitive benefits package which includes 401k, medical/dental/prescription drug, life insurance, flex spending, holiday and vacation pay.
