SAP Analyst / SME
Job Summary: Intrepid is seeking a SAP Subject Matter Expert and GFEBS Analyst to support the GFEBS Project Management Office in various accounting process and tracking system activities. Performance location in Crystal City, VA. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review, analyze, and interpret various GFEBS financial documents and reports, against established financial metrics. Assist customers in the resolution of problems pertaining to various financial management missions performed to include achievement of Joint Review Program metrics, root cause analysis, and financial data input into overall AFMO performance metrics. Analyze higher headquarters missions, operations plans, operations orders, and regulatory guidance to prioritize specified and implied financial management tasks. Advise the command on regulations, directives, and other information from higher headquarters with regard to impact on Command's mission and operations. Recommend and evaluates courses of action required to accomplish stated missions. Develop operational and financial briefs and reports as required to meet HQDA requests for information. Review process maps and data flows from GFEBS PMO for all interfacing entitlement systems to include what data is being sent. This represents from the time it leaves GFEBS until it comes back to GFEBS. Verify data flows through entitlement systems (what is being sent vs. what should be sent vs. what needs to be sent) to determine where the process is failing. Look at process end-to-end to determine where failures occur. Identify system, process, and user errors and make appropriate recommendations. Each entitlement system will be looked at separately. Leverage findings across entitlement systems as applicable. Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Have or are able to attain a Secret level security clearance BS/BA or Masters degree in a related discipline. In-depth knowledge of GFEBS (10+ years experience) with general knowledge of Army accounting processes and legacy accounting systems. Ability to analyze BI/ECC data into useful information for tracking financial operations. General knowledge of Army financial management planning processes. Working knowledge of DFAS processes and financial reports. *This job description is subject to change at any time.
