Accounts Receivable Representative This role will give you the opportunity to enhance your skillset by incorporating high level of technological skills in an entirely paperless environment, and be given the autonomy to find new or more creative and resourceful ways to accomplish the department's objectives. In short, as an Accounts Receivable Accountant you will provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficiency and accuracy in applying tenant cash receipts and process billing charges, while meeting tight deadlines for our unique technology-related data center company. The Requirements 5+ years high volume corporate collections, customer service and accounting experience. Commitment to excellent customer service Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities Strong communication, attention to detail, goal oriented, problem solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness Creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency. Experience in the Data Center, Construction or Real Estate environments preferred Experience working with SAGE ERP system Accounts Receivable module is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office The Accounts Receivable Representative manages the billing activities of the assigned customers to ensure accuracy and maintenance of invoicing, review and setup of new service order billings, and recommending/implementing process improvements. The Accounts Receivable Representative reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager. The duties include but are not limited to the following: Review of the customer contract for all billing terms and conditions Collaborate with internal teams to ensure we have all information to accurately prepare customer invoice Generate timely and accurate a high volume of customer invoices on a monthly basis Communicate and follow up effectively with customers on a daily basis regarding their account and billing inquiries. Maintains accurate files, keeps track of any changes, address changes and contact changes Monitor overall levels of Accounts Receivable for communication with Management Monitor collections and problem accounts for communication with Management and additional collection activity Provide exceptional customer service to external and internal customers Participate in team planning meetings and actively engage in department projects and initiatives Observe and adhere to company policies and procedures Assist with annual audit EdgeConneX believes diversity - of thought, backgrounds and experiences - affects all that we do, from our employees to the solutions we deliver.
