As the Digital Marketing Specialist at Sila, you will collaborate closely with other Marketing and Communication team members, as well as internal stakeholders, to promote Sila's digital content across multiple channels to grow brand awareness among our B2B and talent acquisition audience. In addition, you will be an integral contributor to our overall marketing efforts. This role requires a high-level of creativity and strong communication skills, as well as an understanding of digital strategies, paid media campaigns, social media, and data analysis. As our Digital Marketing Specialist, you must have the ability to take on a variety of tasks, pay close attention to details, and possess strong project management skills. WHAT TO EXPECT Every day, every week, and every month will be different at Sila, but as Sila's Digital Marketing Specialist the following work will engage you: Contribute to the overall social media channel strategy for engaging new community members while ensuring our messaging and voice are consistent with our brand values.Generate awareness, interest, and excitement via social media by drafting and posting creative, timely and inspiring messages to build meaningful connections across our brand pages on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.Manage our content/editorial calendar with the objective of attracting qualified leads and candidate interest, and building brand awareness.Collaborate with sales, business development, and talent acquisition, and other key stakeholders in producing relevant content that meets the need of our audience and assist in the lead nurturing process through social, content, email, and integrated and sponsored campaigns.Evaluate existing websites and social media channels, creates plans for improvements and implements changes with the team.Collaborate with team members to identify, develop, and accurately report on channel performance progress to team and leadership using channel insight tools and Google Analytics.Research and benchmark best practices and stay current on digital and social media trends, while developing new social tests, initiatives, and growth opportunities.Identify and develop new easy ways to communicate with and engage our employees.Be a gifted storyteller, comfortable working in various mediums from feature stories to video, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences.Assist other MarComm initiatives from website enhancements, market research, campaign development, video production, analysis, event support etc. SKILLS YOU'LL NEED Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications digital media, journalism, marketing, or related field3+ years of progressive and applicable experience in a marketing/communication, social media, digital media, interactive design, web management or related fieldDemonstrated ability in developing and executing social media and digital strategies to create online outreach, interest, awareness, and visibilityKnowledge of marketing technologies like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or similar content/social media toolsAnalytic thinker with experience tracking performance indicators and is knowledgeable on marketing reporting and analytics best practicesExperience with content creation to convert visitors into leads and then nurture them into customersMust be creative, innovative and a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives on deadline with a focus on quality resultsExcellent oral and written communication, copywriting, proofreading and editing skillsKnowledge of SEO, HTML/CSS, and can build/edit basic WordPress pagesAbility to use Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and IllustratorRelevant experience in B2B, professional services, or technology industry is a plus WHAT SILA OFFERS Sila is in a high-growth phase and this is your chance to get in on the ground floor of a Marketing and Communications team.
