Refer Save Apply Job ID: JC-92257 Description: Acts as a liaison between the contact organization's site coordinator and the Donor C enter to organize and coordinate the blood drive. Conducts site visits to evaluate site suitability. Ensures that the sponsoring organization has a pleasant experience so they will be willing to host future drives. Acts as an educator and motivator for the organization in donor recruitment techniques and scheduling donors. (Fliers, posters, sign-up sheets, thank you letters). Coordinates Donor C enter functions, printings, etc. with the Marketing/Communications Department. In conjunction with the Blood Bank Supervisor, acts as a technical resource for the contact organization regarding Donor C enter regulations and policies. In conjunction with Blood Donor Center Operations Coordinator, coordinates all scheduled blood drives on the Blood Donor Center calendar. Schedules Blood Donor Center staff and bus drivers to meet the needs of the drive. In conjunction with the Blood Bank Manager, develops new recruitment campaigns to help ensure that AAMC Blood Donor Center strategic objectives are met by meeting a monthly/yearly blood quota for the Blood Donor Center. In conjunction with the Blood Bank Manager, develops and delivers educational programs/presentations for organizations, hospital personnel, and the general public to promote blood donation at AAMC. This includes but is not limited to the AAMC website and social media. Develops effective donor retention strategies for organizations and their employees, and for the existing donor base not associated with a mobile sponsor organization. Prepares reports of blood donor program and recruitment activities. Develops recognition program for donors, civic groups, and other businesses supporting the Donor Center. Espouses the principals of Lean Thinking and creates a work environment that positively promotes continuous process improvement. Actively participate in the laboratory quality plan/program (ex. investigative reports, notification of delays, etc.). Participate in the training of new staff and students by serving as a mentor and technical resource. Minimum Experience: Previous experience in sales or marketing. Required License/Certifications: current valid drivers license & insurance and own transportation to travel to various donation sites.
