Location: Bethesda Requisition: R7787 Senior Networking Sales Engineer (Open) Job Posting Title: Senior Networking Sales Engineer Job Description: Citrix is looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to join our Public Sector Sales team as a State and Local Government Networking Sales Engineer located in Washington DC, or on the East Coat. The Opportunity This is a senior Sales Engineer position responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with a State or Local Government Agencys mission and objectives, as well as channel partner training & enablement. As a Sr. Sales/Systems Engineer (SE), you will be responsible for the technical relationships with customers and prospects, and you will identify and match technology opportunities with our customers business needs. In this role, you will be an important element of our sales organization by driving sales with your technical expertise, account management skills, sales ability and superior customer focus. You will also assist in developing business value propositions around Citrix Networking product solutions (NetScaler product family including: ADC, AppFirewall, Unified Gateway, Management & Analytics Systems, SD-WAN, Secure Web Gateway, and Web Gateway Service) and participate as part of a sales team to achieve or exceed revenue targets. Your principal responsibilities will include: Creating and delivering technical product demonstrations, presentations, and network designs and support Participating in consultations and/or product capability assessments with prospects Creating formal relationships with key decision makers and serving as external spokesperson for Citrix Working on issues that impact design/selling success or address proof of concepts, products or technologies Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of intelligent application switching issues and trends as they relate to Citrix Netscaler solutions. Leveraging and maximizing partners as the fulfillment channel while working with Citrix end user accounts on IT initiatives Delivering product training and skills transfer to channel partners, integrators and users Qualifications and Requirements Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience 5+ years pre-sales or systems engineering experience in a high tech, with a record of success in driving customer adoption of technology Ability to travel within assigned territory The following certifications are beneficial but not required Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification. CCDP or similar vendor certification Pre-sales consulting experience is required in any of these technology areas: Routers and Switches/ Core Networking Load Balancers Security (Web, Email, Content, Firewalls) Data Center (Storage Virtualization, Virtual Switching) Qualifications: Ability to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Citrix solution strategy; ability to make a compelling case for Citrix products Capable of quickly learning new products and technologies Ability to diffuse complicated technical and political situations with partners and customers Ability to maintain relationships with technical resources at all levels of a customer organization Understanding of bandwidth management and quality of service concepts Demonstrated efficiency in system integration Ability to troubleshoot complex network environments Working with Citrix puts you at the forefront of technology.
