AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking experienced System Administrators to provide support to the Special Missions and Multi-INT Integration Facility located at NAS Patuxent River. The System Administrators will also provide Information Assurance support to the project as well as provide support to airborne operations of forward deploy assets and test/evaluation events. This is a dynamic position that requires a high degree of flexibility. Each day will present new challenges and opportunities. A typical day as the Systems Administrators: Work with engineers to test system software for multiple airborne platforms. Troubleshoot software administrative discrepancies and provide solutions for test events Input STIGs into government software Installs new software releases and system upgrades Provide updates to both lab and aircraft software Install, harden and scan RHEL, Centos, Windows, and ESXi workstations Build, configure and harden multiple system architectures Maintain data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity Scan media for vulnerabilities and analyze data from said scan Qualifications and Experience: At least 4-8 years of relevant experience Familiarity with Windows/MS Suite and Linux Familiarity with Cisco switches and routers Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment US Citizenship and a current DoD SECRET security clearance is required. A current TS/SCI clearance is highly preferred, however the ability to obtain this will be required Education: Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of relevant experience is required Security+ certification is highly desired.
