Coordinator, Marketing Communications

For me, that's a big breath of fresh air."- Sunrise Leader This position will assist the Marketing & Communications team with the development and implementation of initiatives to promote Sunrise's brand externally and internally, as well as help grow team member engagement. RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of Marketing & Communications team's content marketing and public relations campaigns, collateral development and online presence by drafting content and cultivating story ideas. Strategize with the Senior Specialist and Director on content marketing initiatives; execute on the development of editorial calendars for owned and social media channels. Manage internal communications including weekly and monthly internal company-wide newsletters. Generate positive press for Sunrise, working with the media on reactive opportunities including coordinating inquiries, community (field) outreach, building relationships and news monitoring. Assisting with proactive media opportunities including identifying stories/angles. Manage database of Sunrise testimonials, identifying and executing on opportunities to utilize testimonials to promote Sunrise's brand and customer experience externally. Draft and edit copy for materials including external and internal announcements, newsletters, blog articles and marketing promotions.Contribute to a wide range of marketing and communications tasks, such as managing email boxes daily and handling community-specific requests.Assist with Sunrise's annual customer experience survey, supporting efforts from survey development and vendor set up to survey execution, community administration and results analysis. Review and provide feedback on marketing collateral and communications materials, including creative, to ensure accuracy and messaging effectiveness. Qualifications:1-2 years of experience or training (to include a recent college graduate) in marketing and communications preferred.Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field.Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Previous exposure to content marketing principles and media relations.
