Senior Technical Instructor/Course Developer
Supervisor for personnel whose duties include, but are not limited to the following: Facilitate, deliver, update, develop instruction in Mission Command (MC) Functional Courses as well as perform operator level maintenance of Mission Command Systems in the classrooms and equipment labs. Perform/supervise instruction to train students on all terminal and enabling learning objectives as prescribed in the Government approved program of instruction (POI) and training support package (TSP). Perform administrative duties in support of courses and students, including the functions of enrollment, scheduling, attendance, performance assessment, academic performance reports, student surveys, and personnel assistance. Participate in the MC community of interest portal and respond to queries and issues submitted there. Set up, account for, maintain, troubleshoot and account for laboratory and classroom systems, including audio-visual equipment. Perform security procedures and checks. Perform information assurance and OPSEC functions. Develop and recommend updates and changes to instructional materials. Prepare and deliver briefings and presentations. Attend and successfully complete periodic training on new and updated MC systems taught in the course(s). Serve as member of Critical Task Site Selection Board(s) as required. Education Bachelors Degree, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work/military experience. Qualifications
- SECRET Clearance.BS/BA degree and 5 years’ experience using MC systems to support mission planning, training and operationsGraduate of a military or civilian service school equivalent to the Sergeants Major Academy and/or the Command and General Staff College (MEL-4)5-8 years of supervisory/management experience, 2-4 in Mission Command related positions.Graduate of Mission Command System Integrators Course (MCSIC/BCSIC) and Mission Command Digital Master Gunner Course (MCDMG).Documented proficiency in operating and maintaining Mission Command Workstation and a minimum of two of the following MC systems: AFATDS, AMDWS, TAIS, FBCB2, CIDNE, TiGR, BCS3, DCGS-A, and GCCS-A. Proficient in working collaboratively with Microsoft SharePoint and using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Demonstrated expertise/experience in setting up, testing and operating IT networks.Computer/IT experience to operate, perform user level maintenance of individual networks and interactive networks of systems.Graduate of an Army or other service Instructor Training Course and 2 years’ experience as a service school instructor.Familiarity with network systems administration and information security fundamentals.Effective communicator (oral and written), able to design, develop and deliver papers and presentations.
