Forensic Science Specialist

Key Role:

Assist with monitoring grants that deal with the quantitative analyses of organic, inorganic compounds, or biologics to determine chemical and physical properties during the chemical syntheses, fermentation, or drug product development process by verifying their identity, purity, and homogeneity. Assist with supporting research to develop or improve analytical techniques, methodology, procedures, and investigates application of instruments in analysis. Organize and interpret all data obtained using a wide variety of instrumental technologies. Apply the ability to interpret measurements of compounds in biological environments and fluids. 


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience in an operational forensic science laboratory

-Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Knowledge of science and mathematics

-Ability to present statistical and analytical findings to a knowledgeable audience

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-MS degree preferred; PhD degree a plus
