Hotel Breakfast Attendant
Your daily responsibilities include:Adhere to all CTRS food safety and sanitation techniques at all times before, during and after breakfast service! Complete all tasks assigned by Guest Services Manager in a timely manner in accordance with CTRS standards. Transports all items needed for food service from storeroom, kitchen or other areas. Sets up the hotel breakfast buffet for service according to established standards. Greets the guests as they arrive and assists in seating. Takes beverage requests (coffee, juice, etc) and direct and explains the breakfast layout to the guests. During breakfast service, regularly offer re-fills on coffee and juice using hand held service pitchers. Busses and re-sets empty tables within 3 minutes of the guest departure. Re-stocks the breakfast buffet as needed during service. Breaks down and cleans up after the completion of all scheduled shifts, completing assigned side work functions. Responds quickly and courteously to guest requests. Follows all company/department policies, procedures, and standards. Thoroughly familiar with all related HAZCOM information, MSDS for any chemicals in use, Blood Borne Pathogen prevention and appropriate response. Follows all Safety handling procedures and is familiar with Emergency Procedures. Presents a professional image at all times through appearance and behavior. Assists with luggage storage and rooming guests as requested by Guest Reception. Actively participates in all hotel meetings, training, task forces, programs, etc. And other duties as assigned.To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:Previous restaurant or hospitality service preferred. Minimum High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
