Marketing & Communications Manager

Do you have at least 5 years of marketing and communications management experience for an Association?  Our client, a Membership Association in downtown Washington, DC has a Temp-to-Hire opening for a Marketing & Communications Manager to help them carry out their marketing plans for conferences and membership.  Strong writing skills are important as there will be some copywriting. They need someone who can write for a variety of mediums (digital, web, print), and need someone with a creative/promotional slant as this person will be working on: print brochures, ads (print and online), direct mail (letters, postcards) promotional emails, posters, website copy, and some social media content to support marketing plans. 

Someone with membership marketing and association event marketing experience is really ideal.

Must have a Baccalaureate degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field, along with 5 years of marketing and communications experience.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and social media platforms are also required as well as experience with content management, email marketing and association management systems.  Will also need experience with website analytics and social media posting, monitoring and reporting tools.
