The Administrative Office (AO), an agency of the Judicial Branch of the Federal government, is committed to serving and supporting the Federal court system of the United States. The AO provides a broad range of legislative, legal, financial, technology, data, management, administrative and program support services to the Federal Courts.
The AO is seeking a Training Specialist to serve in the Operations Management Division of the Judiciary Data and Analysis Office (JDAO). JDAO is comprised of a diverse team of statisticians, data architects, project managers, and other subject matter experts focused on collecting, analyzing, and disseminating essential judiciary information and statistics to make fact- based decisions and fulfill Congressional reporting requirements.AO positions are classified and paid under a broad-banded system with the exception of positions in the AO Executive Service. Salary is commensurate with experience. Most AO employees are eligible for full Federal and Judiciary benefits.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience as listed below. This requirement is according to the AO Classification, Compensation, and Recruitment Systems which include interpretive guidance and reference to the OPM Operating Manual for Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions.
Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience must demonstrate ALL areas defined below:
(1) Working with senior leaders to identify, develop and implement training initiatives;
(2) Developing training materials, including those intended for distance learning; AND
(3) Coordinating annual training events, including identifying speakers, developing content, and logistical arrangements.

Public Trust - Background Investigation
This position is located in the Operations Management Division of the Judiciary Data and Analysis Office (JDAO). The Operations Management Division is responsible for the operational, administrative, communication, and editorial needs of JDAO. Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Working closely with JDAO leadership to set training priorities to support JDAO strategic and operational initiatives at the office, division, branch, and program levels such as data visualization, data governance, enterprise data warehouse efforts;
- Exploring and implementing, in partnership with other offices across the AO, the use of distance learning tools, such as webinars and informational and instructional videos to supplement traditional in-person training;
- Working collaboratively with JDAO program managers on the development of annual statistical training conferences;
- Working closely with JDAO communications staff to develop consistent, high-quality training materials;
- Collaborating with JDAO administrative staff on the site selection and logistical arrangements for training conferences; and
- Facilitating the compilation, reproduction and online posting of training and conference materials.
