Systems Administrator

Key Role:
Work as a mid-level system administrator assisting a government client with the sustainment of the Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance Surveillance System (EMARSS). Install and configure servers, workstations, switches, and routers. Apply expertise in technologies and operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Windows OS, Windows Server 2008 R2, Cisco IOS, VMware, vCenter, vSphere, Remote Desktop, DNS, and DHCP. Conduct system administration of Linux and Windows systems and networks and monitor the system information security posture by installing IAVA updates and patches to ensure Information Assurance (IA) compliance and standards. Perform complicated and difficult software or systems design engineering assignments under general supervision that require a high degree of technical competence reflecting current state-of-the-art applications.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with supporting programs of record as a system administrator
-Experience with developing installation documentation
-Experience with technologies and operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.2, Windows OS, Windows Server 2008 R2, and VMware
-Knowledge of system administration for Linux and Windows systems and networks
-Ability to execute installs and configuration of servers, workstations, switches, and routers
-Ability to perform IAVA updates and patching to ensure conformance with Information Assurance (IA) compliance and standards
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree in IT, CS, or Software Engineering

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with an Army client, including CECOM or the Software Engineering Center (SEC)
-Knowledge of aerial sensor institutions
