Job Description: Responsible for managing all aspects of Infrastructure Operations in a fast paced and highly complexed environment. Responsible for matrixed support for Outside Plant (Primary) as well as other groups included in the Infrastructure Operations Directorate of JSP. Primarily responsible for direct customer support to JSP OSP Government lead. Will also provide management support as needed to Inside Plant, Tech Control, & System Administration team. O&M Responsible for performing 24/7/365 break-fix on all Outside Plant infrastructure under JSP purview. Ensure all Space & Power requirements are processed and tracked for all JSP owned environments.


Manages a team of approximately 6-12 employees.Ensure all pertinent records are updated and maintained in the Organizations Database (Planet IRM).Adhere to organizational change management processes and procedures.Responsible for deploying labor resources efficiently to accommodate large, on-going, & continuous work load.Prepares and presents high level impact briefings to the Customer.Works in concert with other Infrastructure Operations sections to deliver layer 1-2 Transport.Monitors and tracks multiple high visibility projects simultaneously.Ensure all Service Level Agreements are met. Requirements:

5 - 8 years’ experience managing 10 or more personnel

ITSM, ITIL exposure.


Desired Skills:

DOD 8570.1-M IAT-II, (CompTIA Security+ CE at a minimum)

PMP desired

Solid Customer Support Skills in a high visibility environment. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and initiatives concurrently


Key Competencies: Communication skills - verbal and written Problem analysis and problem solving Ability to manage two teams with expertise in 2 distinct disciplines Ability to multitask in a stressful environment

Education Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Qualifications 5-8 years of related experience, including supervisory experience.
