The MIL Corporation seeks an Agile Business Analyst to support a Federal Government client at our Crownsville, Maryland location.

• Assist the Agile EPMO in the review, monitoring and guidance to State agencies of requirements development and management, in accordance with the transformation of the State's System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to Agile best practices, using the Scaled Agile Framework or SAFe TM
• In coordination and with direction from the State Enterprise Agile Transformation Team, assist with overseeing the quality of the delivery of information technology projects
• Where necessary, the EPMO and State Enterprise Transformation Team may instruct the Agile Business Analyst to assist the EPMO and/or State agencies in constructing artifacts during the planning phases of the State's program setup process
• Assist in the strategy, planning and fulfillment of State procurement objectives for information technology projects
• Establish and document, as necessary, business processes and procedures for a designated area of responsibility

Required Qualifications
• BS degree or equivalent education and experience
• 10 years of business analysis experience in the IT industry
• 5 years of Agile program delivery experience in the IT industry
• Direct work experience in developing agile IT artifacts, including all aspects of process development and execution
• Proficient understanding of many system implementation approaches including COTS and custom solutions
• Experience documenting processes and procedures, including internal Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, contractors and other departments
• Very good verbal and written communication skills
• Very good interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Prior experience with MS Word, Project, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint applications

Desired Qualifications
• PMP, CSM, Agile industry certifications

BS degree or equivalent education and experience
