Linux Systems Administrator - TS/SCI Required
Serve as a RedHat Linux systems administrator and maintain responsibility for the daily operations and maintenance of unclassified and classified IT systems, including RedHat Linux version 6 and 7, RedHat JBoss, MySQL, JMS, Zookeeper, Storm, and SaltStack.
Work as part of a dynamic team to keep systems maintained and optimized through daily, weekly, and monthly patching, upgrades, and tuning when system maintenance is required.
Perform day-to-day operations and interface with internal and external clients to support system operations.
Contribute to and maintain operations documentation, including configuration data, change requests, installation procedures, knowledge base articles, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), engineering diagrams, and test plans.
Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.
Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
Serves as a technical team or task leader.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
High School Diploma/GED and 12 years development experience or,
Associates Degree and 10 years development experience or,
Bachelors Degree and eight years development experience or,
Masters Degree and six years development experience or,
PhD and four years development experience.
Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline preferred.
8-10 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis, including:
Experience using ticketing systems.
DoD 8570 compliance IAT Level II or III
Clearance: Active TS/SCI (with ability to obtain CI Poly)
