Regional Sales Manager (East Coast)
TRANSPORT TOPICS, an award-winning weekly publication and online news source that covers the trucking and freight transportation industry with the largest market share in our sector, is actively seeking a dynamic and success-driven Regional Sales Manager for the Eastern region. We are looking for a goal-driven individual with overnight sales travel experience, who possesses excellent communication skills and sales techniques, and who can work independently from their home.
The incumbent in this role will be responsible for total account management of display and online advertisers in their specific geographic territory. The primary functional duty is the sale of display ads, online advertising space, and sponsorship opportunities to new and existing accounts in Transport Topics. Secondary responsibilities include representing Transport Topics at industry trade shows and conferences.
Bachelor’s degree in business, advertising, marketing or related field plus a minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience is required. Successful experience with in-person sales presentations, RFP responses, and marketing campaigns. Travel (50-60%) is required.
