Responsibilities:

  • Provides inclusive outreach that includes comprehensive recruitment and screening activities that meet the diversity needs of our region
  • Builds and manages strong working relationships with hiring managers to identify the best candidates.
  • Develops meaningful and helpful relationships with candidates to support their recruitment and onboarding experience.
  • Utilizes creative sourcing techniques including engaging directly with local and national universities as appropriate.
  • Reviews resumes, phone screens using behavioral interview techniques, evaluates and qualifies candidates for consideration and hire.
  • Manages and directs the interview, selection, offer negotiations, hiring process and on-boarding.
  • Keeps abreast of market trends to educate and advise hiring managers on policies, benefits and salary equity, on-boarding & assimilation, work friendly programs and competitive best practices.
  • Prepares and completes new hire requirements including reference checks if applicable, background/sanction checks, scheduling of health assessment and initiates the on-boarding process.

Qualifications/Background profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare or related field preferred
  • At least 5 years of work experience that includes managing projects and/or recruiting, in an healthcare environment
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of federal/state employment labor laws and EEO compliance requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills (e.g. Windows, Excel, Word, PeopleSoft or relevant human resources information system
