Serves as a top level technical or functional expert, often working on multiple projects and programs.

  1. Serves as a top level technical or functional expert supporting one or more clients and unlimited user groups.

 2. Performs highly specialized technical tasks associated with cutting-edge technologies.

 3. Works with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals.

 4. Applies expert functional knowledge and experience to significant business projects or processes.

 5. May perform business development activities, including providing technical input to proposal efforts.

 6. Provides guidance and training to less experienced staff.

 7. May serve as a technical task or project leader.

 8. May have supervisory responsibilities.

 9. Maintains current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise.

 10. Participates in special projects as required.

 

Specific Areas of Focus:

 

    Provide expert knowledge of modernization programs related to all classes of vessels with emphasis on DDG AMOD and HM&E Mods, LSD Modernizations and CG Modernizations.
    Support shipyard and fleet installation activities by providing onsite representation of senior management and sector interests to ensure performance of in-house and subcontracted staff to meet client deliverables and schedules.Manages and resolves planning, design, or installation issues with client’s Program Managers, ISEAs, SEA-21 PMR/SMRs, NSAs, and Planning Yard representatives.Responsible for working with individual business units to identify current and future business while assisting regional program leads/directors to establish strategic partnerships to pursue such opportunities.Provide insight into bidding strategies to win awards on both the contract and task order level for single and multiple award IDIQ, SEAPORT, and other services contracts.Organically grow corporate business interests though identifying upcoming projects and securing task level funding lines.Conduct site visits to nationwide client sites to support program and technical reviews and present on program/project status in additional to other corporate capabilities.Review and respond to Corrective Action Requests (CAR) on active installations and track corrective actions/lessons learned to ensure deliverables are met and quality standards are current, correct and being implemented. Maintains awareness of changes to NSTS9090-310 and NAVSEA Standard Items while working with installation management teams to ensure compliance and standards are met or exceeded.

Education 1. Bachelors Degree in a related discipline.

 2. Masters Degree preferred.
