    The candidate will serve as the Quality Manager supporting both GDIT’s quality reviews as well as supporting the customer’s quality initiatives. As the Program Quality Manager, the selected candidate will be expected to utilize corporate capabilities as well as industry best practices to develop, disseminate, and enforce programmatic quality standards.The selected candidate will develop and implement a Quality Control and Assurance Program that includes, but is not limited to, the following:
      Quality control and assurance measures and activity scheduleQuality reviews and studies of activities as appropriateQuality control of deliverables and activities
    The candidate will establish a records management system to maintain all inspections and tests conducted to include a record of any corrective actions taken. The selected candidate will review and validate compliance of all program policy and operating procedures.The selected candidate will work with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. The selected candidate will apply expert knowledge and experience to significant business projects or processes. The selected candidate may perform business development activities, including providing technical input to proposal efforts. The selected candidate will provide Quality management guidance and training to program staff members The selected candidate may serve as a technical task or project leader. The selected candidate may have supervisory responsibilities. The selected candidate will maintain current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise and participate in special projects as required.
Education Masters Degree in a related discipline.

Qualifications
    15-20 years of experience in IT Management, Quality Management, IT Service Management best practices.Expert level knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in IT Management, Quality Management, IT Service Management best practices. Professional certification(s) in one or more specific applications or processes are preferred. Certifications or training in any of the following:
      Total Quality Management (TQM)ISO 9000ISO 20000ITIL ExpertITIL Practitioner
    Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance. Must be able to achieve Security+ CE Certification (or equivalent) within 90 days of hire for positions requiring elevated privileges and ITIL V3 Foundation within six months of hire.
This position may be required to complete short-term deployments to austere locations worldwide
