Vice President, Marketing
The primary purpose of the Vice President, Marketing, will be to lead teams of creative designers, social media, digital and traditional media specialists. The role will develop an overall strategic vision for the brand and execute through creative design/development and effective channel strategy. This seasoned marketing expert will be responsible for managing all marketing functions to include the vision, strategy, and execution. This position will be responsible for coordinating with executives from product teams to formulate and execute go-to-market strategy.

Act as a thought-leader and change-agent for the PenFed brand nationally, including all aspects of branding, public image; marketing and advertising strategy; media relations; sales campaigns, and marketing metrics.
Own positioning, messaging, branding, segmentation, and marketing strategy.
In collaboration with sales continuously refine comprehensive go to market plans across multiple geographies, channels and market segments.
Guide development of premium content and engaging presentations, one-pagers, case studies, research reports, blog posts, social media, and webinars to highlight Penfed’s innovative value proposition and industry insights.
Develop promotional events (golf tournaments, conferences, sponsorships) to further promote the PenFed brand.
Utilize critical market & competitive research to segment and define target markets, refine and improve the product value proposition and implement the best market penetration strategy.
Ensure rigor and discipline across company-wide programs that support integrated marketing and business development models.
Work closely with Penfed Credit Union Executive team to develop and execute dynamic campaigns that drive growth for their target segments.
Capitalize on digital marketing and leverage the latest technologies to improve upon the PenFed brand.
Develop PenFed’s marketing communications materials including collateral and direct response programs, and web/interactive/social media.
Be a great leader, coach, and manager to a marketing organization.
Manage all aspects of marketing planning, budgeting, metrics, and reporting.
Manage external agencies and relationships with marketing services.
Strong understanding of Adobe Marketing Cloud (AEM, Campaign, Target, Analytics).
7+ years of well-rounded marketing experience in positions of increasing responsibility at a Director level or above, with a focus on marketing expansion and identifying market trends.
7+ years of leadership experience at a Director level or above with the ability to motivate and provide professional development.
Previous experience to include the leadership and direction of a large marketing department (more than 35 people).
Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, demand generation, brand, product and service management, sales and business development; along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance.
Advanced experience working with a variety of traditional and modern marketing and communications functions including but not limited to: branding and messaging to different target audience.
B to C experience required.
An understanding of all aspects of email marketing, online advertising, and public relations including differing media outlets required.
Past experience creating a demand generation center is a plus.
Bachelor's degree required. MBA is preferred.
This position will supervise employees.
