Considerable knowledge of skilled trades including construction, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work.
Considerable knowledge of safety requirements and regulations, as part of fulfilling work orders and understanding the interrelationships of various building systems.
Demonstrated trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, heating and cooling.
Demonstrated high level of organizational & time management skills, detail oriented and follow-through.
Ability to meet deadlines and to follow prescribed procedures.
A self-starter with outstanding interpersonal skills to deal effectively with vendors and tenants in a competent, customer-service oriented manner.
Ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend improved work flow processes in a team environment.
Basic skills in Microsoft Office preferred.
Coursework in engineering or construction trades and a minimum of 5 + years related experience. District of Columbia class three engineer’s license is preferred. Experience with VAV DDC controls and Boilers.
This position will work various shifts starting as early as 6:00am and staying as late as 5:30pm Monday through Friday with occasional responsibilities after hours and on weekends. Ability to work alternative work schedules and off hours.
