ROLE DEFINITION

The role of the Enterprise Analyst/Maintenance Planner is to improve work force productivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance resources and activities. This position also needs to have a good understanding of IT services and scheduled maintenance impacts to the enterprise in order to mitigate service interruption. This includes, de-conflicting scheduled maintenance and incidents in order to ensure service availability across the enterprise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Planning Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with operations, maintenance personnel and maintenance management
  • Planning and scheduling for shutdowns (major and minor)
  • Critical Path Analysis
  • Keeps the team informed of abnormal or critical situations
  • Analysing work to find efficiencies
Additional Planning Responsibilities:

  • Researching
  • Scoping of work
  • Developing task instructions
  • Planning and monitoring
  • Eliciting requirements
General understanding of IT infrastructure, especially networks is preferred.

Shifts are...

Days -- 6am to 6pm

Mids -- 6pm to 6am (Shift differential)

Rotation between shifts is every two months.

 

 

Education Bachelors Degree in a related technical or military discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience.

 

 

Qualifications 0-2 years of related experience supporting military operations.

 General understanding of IT infrastructure, especially networks is preferred.

Capacity to learn and can handle him/herself and operate independently is needed.
