Falcons Landing is seeking a highly motivated, energetic and talented Executive Assistant to provide exceptional administrative and professional support to the President/CEO.

Falcons Landing is a Lifeplan Community located west of Washington, DC in beautiful Potomac Falls, Virginia. Our residents have retired from or previously served in the military or in senior government positions. We are a not-for-profit, first-class community, and our employees thrive in a supportive and caring environment.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a top notch Executive Assistant who will provide direct administrative support primarily to the President/CEO and also to the Board of Directors. Some secondary support to the Senior Management Team is also required.  We are looking for an EA who can support the team in ways we haven’t even thought of yet!

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong initiative, the ability to work independently and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, fulfilling new requirements while meeting existing deadlines.  Superior writing and editing skills are essential, as are outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.  This individual will routinely receive confidential and sensitive communication; unimpeachable confidentiality, judgment and integrity are essential. 

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in providing professional administrative support; C level support highly desirable. Excellent PC skills should include a mastery of MS Office Suite programs. This position requires ability to produce high quality PowerPoint preparations and Publisher experience preferred, but not required. The EA manages the executive office suite, to include negotiating contracts and managing office finances and supplies.

In the absence of the CEO, the EA is the primary contact for requests and problems from internal and external sources that would otherwise go directly to the CEO. Must be able to analyze issues, obtain background information, handle or refer the matter appropriately and contact the CEO when necessary. Must be a polished written and verbal communicator. A bachelor’s degree is required.
