Job Description: Position supports the development of the Master Integration Plan (MIP) for the BMDS; which includes understanding capability needs and critical system interdependencies at allocated integration points. Supports the MIP team, including both National Team and government engineers, to plan for continued BMDS spiral development and adequate testing of new/updated capabilities. Position functions to identify key behaviors and performance parameters, and develops associated plans, to support the MDA’s ability to perform timely integration, execute system tests, and perform system assessment activities. Education Master's degree in Engineering, math or science or equivalent experience Qualifications 8-10 years of related engineering experience. Required Qualifications: Familiarity with large scale System of Systems and DoD weapons systems integration. Ability to develop, coordinate, and communicate integration plans; including ability to perform integration analysis across multiple sub-systems; understand relationship of intended behavior and requirements to test objectives; ability to work with system engineering tools to apply sound systems engineering practices to the development of a system integration plan that thoroughly documents critical system focus areas, interdependencies and technical/schedule disconnects. Desired Qualifications: BMDS integration experience including: defining integration objectives, writing integrations plans and procedures, executing integration events and reporting integration results. Experience determining sufficiency of system level interface control drawings (SICDs). Familiarity with the DOORS system engineering tool. Effective collaboration and communication skills applied across individual Product Teams, government customers, and BMDS Elements.
