Public Information Assistant - Producer (Part-Time)

Under the supervision of the Public Information and Communications Coordinator, assists in the operation of the City's information platforms including the City's cable access television channel, social media, website, press releases and more. Must have a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of experience in television production. Must have worked on website management, social media content and provide two writing samples. Must provide links to at least two videos that you have completely produced from the shooting to the editing, a website that you have worked on, and display knowledge of major social media sites such as Facebook Twitter, youTube and Instagram. Be prepared to present an original idea for a video that promotes a City service or program. Job entails working various hours including some evenings and weekends. 20 hours a week average, flexible schedule.
