Air Force Magazine, a civilian publication published by the Air Force Association and dedicated to aerospace education, defense policy analysis, and supporting US airpower, is looking for a editorial associate.

A successful candidate will have extraordinary fact-checking and proof reading skills, research abilities, a keen eye for detail, low tolerance for error, the ability to work independently, talent in culling daily news and press releases, and the ability to consolidate and present aggregate news in a clear and concise manner. Also required are people skills, and to be able and willing to handle AFA member queries and magazine staff requests when appropriate. Must be well versed in AP style, knowledge of InDesign and Word necessary, Adobe Suite a plus. Military experience or connection not required but a plus.

A minimum of 3+ years of experience is required; an exception may be made for extraordinarily strong letters of recommendation from University, College, or military commanding officer; however, such letters of recommendations must be submitted with application and specifically address job requirements.
