Partnership and Training Support Manager - Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center
The Defense and Veteran Brain Injury Center (DVBIC) is searching for a Partnership and Training Support Manager! General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is hiring a full-time Partnership and Training Support Manager with traumatic brain injury experience to join the DVBIC team. DVBIC is the traumatic brain injury (TBI) operational component of the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE). Founded in 1992 by Congress, DVBIC’s responsibilities have grown as its network of care and treatment sites has grown.Responsibilities:
- Develop DVBIC’s Annual Training Plan to include short and long term training goals for DVBIC staff, to include DCoE mandated training and DVBIC-specific internal training. Review and analyze DCoE, DoD and other appropriate regulations, directives and documents to ensure DVBIC staff training objectives are identified and met.Maintain and evaluate DCoE’s tracking record and develops additional tracking mechanisms as necessary to evaluate individual and DVBIC’s overall compliance with training requirements. This compliance will be reported to DVBIC’s Chief of Staff and Division leadership on a weekly basis and to DVBIC Senior Leadership, as requested.Function as DVBIC’s Point of Contact for DoD and DCoE’s training coursesDevelops plans and procedures for directed and non-directed training to include other DHA, DA and DoD programs.Disseminate training opportunities and invitations and coordinates training opportunities with DVBIC staff.Schedule and support DVBIC’s Weekly Internal Training program, which consists of DVBIC staff and/or contractors providing a one hour briefing on a scheduled topic.Supports proposal development activities as required.Maintains current knowledge of company services, products, partners, and organization.Maintains current knowledge of major industry, competitor and customer events, issues, and activities.Responsible for ensuring the identification, establishment and implementation of the staff elements required for strategic programs and initiatives.Report status of projects to Government lead on a routine basis, weekly or daily as necessary and appraise Government lead immediately when a problem arises that may impact the successful execution of the task.Prepare and provide various reports and technical reviews to DVBIC leadership.Ensures tasks are completed in manner that is compliant with relevant Government policies, procedures and standards.Assist with developing and maintaining an operational plan containing essential program/project planning information for use by executive management, analyzing program/project progress, identifying and resolving issues, accounting for resources and reporting. This area also includes impact assessments, as well as providing administrative and management planning support for analyzing, developing and updating policy and planning documents.Provide subject matter expertise and technical, administrative, editorial and graphics assistance, as necessary, for the purpose of preparing special reports, studies, analyses, and briefing papers on various financial, administrative, and business process matters related to overall activities and process management.Create and maintain data management processes.Develop and maintain a system to record and track all DVBIC travel, to include conferences, workshops, speaking engagements, lectures, events and site visits. This system is to also track any due outs from the travel, such as briefings, reports, etc. This will require the contractor to obtain this general (non-proprietary) information from other contractors who support DVBIC activities.
