DCS Corp is seeking a dynamic, team oriented, customer focused Office Administrator to support our office and facility operations at our Warren, MI location. You will be working with a group of Engineering Managers, Engineers and Technicians in support of our daily office operations.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day office and facility administration to include: supporting DoD Security Clearance processing needs for office employees; coordinating shipping and receiving activities; tracking equipment and materials maintained within the facility (inventory control) to include supporting Government Property Tracking processes and procedures; coordinating with our Corporate Safety Office to ensure the Warren office is in compliance with Government and State (MIOSHA) safety regulations; coordinating general office maintenance needs; coordinating New Employee orientations.
Essential Job Functions:
Track incoming and outgoing equipment and materials, in coordination with our Corporate Headquarters, to include preparation and submission of required forms to include DD-1149s, DD-250s. Maintain records of equipment and material inventory located within the facility. Support inventory audits as required. Work with our Corporate Services organization to maintain and oversee contracts for building and grounds maintenance, and building security. Coordinate with local Engineering Managers and Corporate Human Resources to in-process new employees. Coordinate Shipping and Receiving Activities. Support office safety needs and requirements to comply with MIOSHA regulations. Manage office supply inventories. Manage process and procedures for obtaining employee training certifications, ID Badge issuance (CAC cards, Facility Access Badging), network accounts in accordance to DoD contractual requirements. Perform the duties of Facility Security Officer (FSO) in support of NISP compliance requirements.Requirements
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Minimum Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field and four (4) years of experience.
Experience in supporting the day-to-day office operations.
Experience in executing administrative duties within an engineering environment.
Experience in inventory tracking and management, ideally with Government Furnished Equipment Experience in Shipping and Receiving Functions, following established Company Procedures.
Experience in contacting vendors, obtaining vendor quotations based on Engineer's specifications, preparing and processing Purchase Orders.
Must possess excellent computer skills, spreadsheet proficiency, and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Previous Experience as Facility Security Officer (FSO) in support of NISP compliance requirements Experience with e-QIP and JPAS systems Familiar with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
